Review: The Fairly OddParents “”Which is Wish” ; “Dimmsdale Daze”

If I had a wish, I’d wish for three more wishes.

Spoilers Below

“Which is Wish”

Chloe and Timmy switch bodies but when they want to switch back they have to wait until the fairies find their wands. In the meantime, the families begin arguing about each other’s kids which leads to cosplay long enough for the fairies to find their wands and switch everyone back to normal.

“Dimmsdale Daze”

Another case of role reversal, this time Chloe becomes a parent and her parents become kids, and everyone heads to a fun-filled festival. As a result of Chloe’s change, she and Timmy can no longer have fairies. After only one day at the park, Chloe decides that she wants to be a kid again and is able to do just that.

Our Take

Two episodes with role-reversal premises make for at least a consistent episode, but the dialogue is just so damn bad, you really need good actors to help it shine, which is why I was happy to see a lot of Cheri Oteri in the second episode. Single-handedly, she made the episode watchable because she’s legitmately a funny voice actor unlike just about everyone else on this show.
