Chloe Rules

Timmy wishes for Chloe to be hall monitor, but it doesn’t take long for the new found powers to get to Chloe’s head. This bitch is nuts, speed traps, locker searches, and threats of Saturday Night detention make Chloe out to be like the Gestapo. Soon, a rebellion begins to form with Timmy’s dad in charge with a mission to ‘take back the halls’. The angry mob gets out of control, and it leads to Timmy talking Chloe off of her high horse and convincing her to break the rules so as to save both of their lives.

Tardy Sauce

There’s no school today due to a teacher seminar, which depresses Chloe because she was all excited to go to school and break the attendance record. To help take her mind off school, Timmy invites Chloe to go get tacos. Unfortunately, Chloe doesn’t even like tacos, but with a new location opening up for Timmy’s favorite place, she agrees to escort him to get some eats. It doesn’t take long, but Chloe comes to suspect that Jimmy’s lying about school being closed and soon forces a confession. Chloe is PISSED and not only throws away Timmy’s tacos but threatens to out the truant student for all of his troubles once she gets to school. A wish fight ensues between the two, but when Chloe gets to school, we find out that there was a surprise party for Chloe and she owes an apology.

Our Take

Even though the episodes were incorrectly listed for the 10th week in a row, I rather enjoyed our double offering of new premieres. While we’ve seen numerous “hall monitor” premises before, I’m not sure I’ve seen one that took it to the extreme as Chloe did in “Chloe Rules”. And any bit about tacos is a good bit for me! With no more Regular Show, I’m gonna need a good animated series to remind me of how delicious kinda-Mexican food is in the future. Not sure if “Tardy Sauce” is ALL of that, but it was a good time regardless.
