Review: Star Wars “Forces of Destiny” Volume 2

The force is not with these shorts.

This time out, Star Wars Forces of Destiny kind of dashes its potential as a really cool “once in a lifetime moment”. For example, in “Accidental Allies”, we get to see Sabine and Jyn meet and in “An Imperial Feast” Han Solo and Hera cross paths. But, the other two shorts are a bit more silly with no real substance.

I get it, it’s a move by Disney to see what kind of female audience taps into Star Wars for the purposes of market research so that the company can then move large quantities of merchandise to said female audiences. But, I’m not sure you can do that with a sort that’s all about Rey dealing with a Happabore’s fat ass sitting on a ship. Would an action sequence kill anybody?
