Review: Rooster Teeth Animated Adventures “Don’t Talk At The Gym”

I’ll be sure to write this down on my invisible notepad and then rip out the paper and put it in my invisible folder.

Geoff makes an off-handed comment about how he hates people that talk at the gym. Michael tells a story about how he kept getting cornered at the gym at his apartment complex. This guy only wanted to talk while Michael worked out. To the point that the guy kept trying to get Michael to punch him in the stomach. Eventually, Michael got a membership at a 24-hour gym and stopped going to the apartment’s gym. One day, that same guy showed up at Michael’s new gym. This time, the guy was talking to a different guy. Except the new guy seemed super into it. Michael is pretty sure that their conversation ended with the new guy asking the talky guy to give him lessons.

Aaaaand we’re back to episodes that aren’t funny and aren’t interesting. I’m really not sure why they waste the time and manpower to even make animated episodes of these conversations. These conversations are fine when they happen in the context of the podcast, which is where they originate, but they are meaningless and unfunny separate from the rest of the show. Please stick with the funny stuff or the interesting stuff. No one cares that Michael saw some chatty old guy at the gym. Especially since Michael hates everything. It’s pretty obvious that he’d hate the old guy too. Next!
