S.T.A.R. Busters Invincible Alien

Another sketch involving the inter-splicing of classic 60-70’s Anime footage voiced over by the RT cast with funny voiceovers and scenarios only this time, with more funny violence thrown in involving a green-skinned alien person.

“My Mario Parody”

This is a random segment I didn’t expect to see again after the first episode, but much of the humor is focused on a sheltered fanboy obsessed with Spyro the Dragon and his Parody of Mario mostly stems from his lack of knowledge of the character. Compared to the last sketch he was in which involved comparing the superiority of a PS1 to an Xbox One, this was slightly funny if only for the character’s blissful ignorance.

SCORE

7/10

RWBY Chibi: “Master Theif”.

A short but legitimately funny segment focused on Emerald from RWBY committing a string of crimes that involve people stealing stuff, So it’s now up to Nora and Phyrra to put a stop to it.

SCORE

8/10

Our Take

As a whole, this episode managed to improve in smaller ways. Many of the jokes didn’t overstay their welcome and it feels like the show is slowly finding its footing even if it stumbles slightly. Only time will tell when they’ll completely hit their stride but the new sketches that gave me a good laugh the most were “Star Bursters” “Good Boys and girls”, “Game Over Drinker” and of course, RWBY Chibi.
