Review: Mike Tyson Mysteries “At the Car Wash”

Overview (Spoilers Below)

Mike and gang sans Pigeon get abducted by a pregnant girl they met at the car wash named Anne. We come to find out that Anne’s boyfriend, Adam, knocked her up despite being a cyborg. Because of this, the US government is laying claim to Anne’s baby, but Adam is able to fend off the doctors. Meanwhile, Pigeon is back at the van in a plastic bag that causes him to trip and go to heaven but Mike resuscitates him. Nine months later, Anne gives birth to what is presumed to be a death-dealing robot.

Our Take

To think, I was worried this whole bit was going to be at the car wash, instead, we get more of an Ex Machina-skewing plot that’s got a hilarious ending.  I wish we got a bit more of Pigeon’s trip to heaven to kind of build that relationship a tad more so that when we get pulled back it would hurt more, but overall this week’s episode is the strongest of the season thus far.
