REVIEW: MARY SHELLEY’S FRANKENHOLE “VICTOR HUGO’S IDENTITY!”

Spoilers Below

The Creature longs to have a family to call his own( I can’t imagine why) so Vic rounds up all the dead corpses of whom he robbed of valuable limbs and eye balls to help create the Creature. After finding all the corpses, he decides to bring them all back to life kept only alive by plugging into Creature’s body, but apparently that isn’t the only thing these bodies have in common. Apparently they are all very adept singers, which gets Vic so excited because he’s always wanted to manage a band and make boat loads of cash, so he signs them up for a gig at the pub for an open mic night. For the most part, none of the zombies really want to sing to take part in the event, they would rather cut up Creature and take back their respective remains. But, when news that the Furher himself, Mr. Adolf Hitler is going to be in attendance, the Jewish zombie makes the rest of the “Its-Aliveington’s” take part in the show. As expected, the show goes off with plenty of bang, but not exactly the way Victor wanted it to.

I thought I saw all the best and funniest ways to kill Nazis in the acclaimed film Inglorious Basterds but boy, Joe Yunger sure knows how to kill Nazis too, most notably Adolf Hitler himself.  In any case, the premise in this week’s episode was really great, as Vic’s relentlessness to reanimate all the corpses that make Creature (only to change his mind when he finds out that he has a group of talented singers) was all too funny. But, as mentioned Joe Yunger stole this one for me as he might now be my favorite character of the show.
