Review: Lucas Bros. Moving Company ”From Momma”

The Lucas Bros. get sent to prison due to the fact that they owe the IRS 10 G’s. Once there, they run into Dad Lucas and learn that prison is more of a party and less the stuff you see in say Shawshank Redemption. Eventually, Momma Lucas shows up to visit her boys, but when she finds out that Daddy is in there with them, she works to replace the old warden which means the party is over. Daddy Lucas has no intention of staying, so he opts to escape leaving his boys behind again. It’s cool though, the new prison Daddy goes to employs the former Warden which means Asian massages for everyone!
I think I had more fun in the run up of going to jail than I did when we were actually in prison. The fact that Kenny and Keef were sent to jail in a TV court-style setting hosted by IRS and Coco B. Ware is pretty hilarious. Unfortunately, we never really get settled in to any one premise. No resolution came of the tax situation, we didn’t really get to explore the fun prison all that much, and Momma didn’t seem all that pissed off at Daddy when she finally got the Warden’s job. Also, the good Lucas Bros. episodes have some sort of fantastical element to them, and this one really didn’t go there.
