Review: Lucas Bros. Moving Company ”For the Love of Moving”

Bro-hugs!

Well, that was a mind fuck.

After a long day’s work, Kenny and Keef head to the bar where Jerrod tells the duo all about the Illuminati and how aliens disguised as rich people actually control the world. The Bros. learn this the hard way when Jay-Z comes by and recruits them to work for Roc. Eventually, the guys find out that Jay-Z is, in fact, an alien that is helping lead the Illuminati on a quest to destroy the world. Thankfully, just as the Lucas’ are about to be destroyed, Jerrod shows up and fights Jay-Z long enough for the twins to move the destructive laser away so that it doesn’t annihilate Brooklyn.

I loved the Fifth Element references, great movie. Overall, a solid episode in that it was a premise that had sort of been done before on The Simpsons and I think even The Cleveland Show had an episode featuring a bunch of rappers that were in the Illuminati or something, but they weren’t aliens so I guess that’s a differentiator. That said, the fight scenes were fantastic between Jay and Jerrod, and this was one of the better voiced-acted performances by the brothers two. These guys deserve some Sad Taps after this one.
