Our Take

For the first episode, as the title implies Pony attempts to give advice to Annie which hilariously backfires when said advice ends up having major consequences for everyone else within their town when giving that very same advice to others reveals something the Town itself didn’t even know about its surface structure with Gerry sort-of saving the day due to something he’s into that bores the shit out of Annie almost causing figurative and literal fissures in their relationship…

As for the 2nd episode, much of the humor takes place in a VR world where a lot of the chaos within this gaming world ends up having real-life destructive consequences for everyone which ends up forcing Annie to keep watch. You’d think knowing what kind of trouble you could get yourself into in a virtual game would prepare Clara in advance to keep messes from happening at all…

Overall, both episodes were passable if only for their physical comedy and the fact that the first segment introduced a new character within its universe in the form of “Cowboy Ken” (voiced by Phil LaMarr) which was easily one of the few entertaining highlights with the well-intentioned lesson about being honest with your friends. While the other one was mostly at its core learning about responsibility in combination with the dangers of not knowing your environment while playing a VR game which had its hilarious consequences in the end…
