Review: Harmonquest “Shatternine Village”

Overview (Spoilers Below)

The team ends up in a village lead by Jared Logan and a team of misfits trying to rid the area of a virus that’s gone mad. Because of this, there are 300 dead bodies lying just outside the outskirts that smell and features a monster that is quickly vanquished. The real story this week is a rather innocuous and possibly improvised love scene between Beor and Lymric which is just a tad disconcerting.

Our Take

Wha…what the hell was that? I get that Lymric has been hinting at the possible joys of family incest for a few weeks now, but Jesus Friggin Christ, to go ahead and actually throw THAT into the show? I don’t even care about Harmon and Erin’s sordid past, even if that weren’t at play here, a potential arc about a brother and sister hooking up is something I hope burns down in flames quickly. I did enjoy Jared’s contributions to the episode, guest stars are getting better and better each week on Harmonquest But I’ve gotta leave now and smash my head against the wall so that the memories of that ending can go away.
