Review: Dream Corp LLC “Tijuana Zebra”

Robot wars.

Spoilers Below

It’s T.E.R.R.Y.’s 21st birthday, but our droid isn’t exactly thrilled. Turns out, he’s worried about getting older and more obsolete so Dr. Roberts decides to put both Patient 88 and him under his “spell”. Afterward, thanks to the combined efforts of his mother Diane, Roberts, and seeing his true value, T.E.R.R.Y. realizes his worth and even notes that compared to humans, he’s got it pretty good. We throw a birthday party, but we never truly fix Randy’s ridiculous hair growth.

Our Take

This week featured one of those episodes that didn’t really settle in in terms of plot, but the ending was worth the price of admission by itself. Stephnie Weir is one of my favorite comedic actresses, and she was excellent playing the role of Diane. Quite honestly, there were some interesting questions raised with her, Roberts, and T.E.R.R.Y. that I’d like to see answered in a future episode. Also, together with his bum hand, it appears that Randy’s just adding to his collection of shit going wrong with him but his hair may be the funniest bit yet. Similar to Wolf Man, but not nearly as sad, Randy’s hair growth was hilariously quick.

Our obligatory animated bit was a tad quicker tonight than usual, and I was a bit underwhelmed by T.E.R.R.Y.’s choice of avatar, but there were a lot of laughs and that’s something we really need this week.
