After admiring the special effects and high octane promos that fellow bounty hunter ‘Buck’ can deliver, Lisa hands the guys their first assignment…a crazy transient named Lloyd whom has so many petty charges ANY bounty hunter can go after him. Problem is Jeff has a hunk of jink truck which has seen better days and eventually gets passed on by Buck’s monster of a truck that captures the suspect and gets the job done. Larry and Bill seem to love Buck because he’s like the neighbor with all of the cool tools whereas Jeff is the simpleton that doesn’t value any of that. Larry ends up running into Buck at the local watering hole where he gets offered a job by the rival bounty operations, but initially Larry declines the offer. He heads back to his office and confronts Jeff about all of the boot strapping he does to keep a roof over their heads and then finally flips out and quits after his gun gets busted up.

Jeff and Bill talk it over and they decide that they need a new hire which sits just fine with Bill because now he can be the boss of someone. Larry on the other hand seems to enjoy his new digs until he’s told that he can’t fart, he can’t eat meat, he needs to wear a uniform…with sleeves, and the fact that he has to work out of the smallest cubicle ever. With Jeff and Bill looking for a replacement, Larry takes off in his first assignment with Team Buck, but because he is a rookie can’t actually capture bad guys. Unfortunately, when Larry goes back to his old bounty HQ in an attempt to get his job back, he sees Bill and Jeff already filled the position.

Barton bounty finds about a new suspect named Carl and this proves to be the first opp for the new guy to prove himself, so the guys head on over to Carl’s house to make the capture. Buck’s team is on the case, too but before they take off Larry gets a promotion. Strangle enough once Larry gets to Carl’s house, he ends up following Jeff and Bill again whom give him his fixed up gun AND Larry even gets to make the arrest. As a result, he quits Team Buck, and Larry is back with Barton! Jeff celebrates by getting his truck fixed and filling it with beer and jerky…YUM!

I really don’t care for Blake Shelton’s music, but he did a great job playing as Buck and as such I hope he gets promoted to a recurring cast member because I think the ‘warring tribes’ type story lines would be a lot of fun. Tonight’s plot wasn’t wildly original, but overall this was the best episode of Bounty Hunters thus far. Having to listen to Larry complain about NOT farting and worse yet his take on vegetables was side-splitting entertainment and just like that this show could be a dark horse for best new series of the year…no Bucks given.
