Review: Aqua Teen Hunger Force Forever ‘Knapsack!’

Warning: Spoilers Lurk In The Darkness Below (waiting to pounce):

I’m the map, I’m the map, I’m the map, I’m the map… What a great jingle. That Dora, she knows how to jam. Also, this week’s Aqua Teen features a Dora parody.

Let’s dig in.  CAN YOU DIG IT?

Begin scene: Meatwad comes home with his new friend, Jubilee, and her gang of talking accessories (a map, a knapsack, and a GPS.)

My reaction: “Oh, a Dora parody. OK.”

In terms of plot, long story short: the Dora gang is a team that shoots amateur porn focused around male virgins (in this case being Meatwad.)

Unfortunately, this child toon parody didn’t hit me in the intended ‘I can’t believe they did that’ area – despite how depraved things got … BUT this still turned out to be a pretty good episode.

Let me tell you why it did not suck.

First of all, we had a good dose of Shake and Carl psuedo-teamed-up for a wonderful bout of women-hounding desperation (similar to Dusty Gozangas for all who remember.)

Second of all, we had the whole gang getting some face time.  In my opinion, having a little taste of all the main cast members always makes for better episodes.

Lastly, the ‘guest’ stars weren’t terrible.  Very underrated factor.

All in all, this episode was a very solid Aqua Teen romp.  What could have they done better?  Just go bigger.  Things got a little out of hand near the end of the episode, but it’s when Aqua gets totally out of control that the real gold shines.

This season is certainly working out nicely.  Let me know what you guys thought below brah brah.
