Our Take

The Booth episode within the proceedings takes a bit of a bizarre direction, but then again this is a universe full of Talking food-people with the antagonist being literal talking bbq ribs called “Texas Rib” though it’s oddly specific that the motivation of Rib removing the Booth isn’t very subtle, You find yourself laughing at Apple & Onion’s failed attempts at making money. Without giving too much away, the ending was a bit weird with its twist but it did give me a good chuckle.

As for the latter episode “Ferekh” I’ve never seen anyone try to forcibly feed a rooster some sort-of foreign soup before, but only a show like this can make animal abuse actually funny, and yet it somehow has a strange purpose later on. The rest of the episode doesn’t really pick up until they realize their huge mistake which eventually leads to some legitimately funny moments and an unexpected conclusion at the end.
