Review: All Dog$ Get Money “Would You Try This Rapper’s Cereal?”

Overview (Spoilers Below):

Lil Buddy is excited to try Lil Duck’s new cereal, but he didn’t expect to win the chance to visit the factory and makes a new track. That’s for the fans, dawg! Still, he can’t resist the opportunity to check it out, so he shows up.

He meets two other poppin’ rappers who also somehow won the contest. They’re greeted by a chorus of oompa loompas, who take them to see Lil Duck. He’s surprised that all three of them won the contest, but lets them jump on his track anyway.

Our Take:

This episode of All Dog$ Get Money was basically just a big spoof of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, but I was here for it. It’s super funny blending such contrasting things together, and when you think about it, Wonka does have the energy of a big time rap star, so why not? Lil Duck isn’t quite as kooky as I was expecting, but the fact that he has oompa loompas showing up at the door is gold.

I loved Lil Buddy line about how they f*** with his music, so they should f*** with his cereal, too. The track this time around wasn’t quite as fire as some of them have been, but the wacky plot makes up for it with solid spoofing and unexpected twists.
