Review: All Dog$ Get Money “If You Ain’t Got No Haters You Not Poppin”

Overview (Spoilers Below):

After jumping on the track with Justin Beaver and Post Mole-oan, Lil Buddy is blowing up. The song is number one on all the charts, but there’s also one problem: the haters are coming out in full force. Everyone from his former fans to the paparazzi are bagging on him, and he’s tired of it. So when he gets the chance to prove he hasn’t lost his mojo, he makes the best of it.

Our Take:

This was a pretty funny episode all things considered. Especially since it comes on the heels of last week’s homage to DJ Mallard and his son. It’s good to see some continuity in the show, and it helps add to the incredulity of Lil Buddy when he realizes that haters gon hate.

The funniest parts of If You Ain’t Got No Haters You Not Poppin have got to be when Lil Buddy’s former fans come up and start hasslin’ him, saying that he ruined Justin Beaver and Post Mole-oan! Challenging him to spit some sick flows to prove he hasn’t sold out and gone mainstream, Lil Buddy raps a sick verse on top of their beatboxing. It’s fun to watch, and only goes to show that you know you’ve made it when your fans are also your haters.
