Ratings Are In 6/15/15: Slow and steady could win the race for ‘Golan the Insatiable’
In the latest ratings report from Variety, despite a busy evening featuring the NBA Finals and the Game of Thrones finale, Golan the Insatiable has proven to be a solid performer for FOX. Here’s what the report has to say:
Fox aired encores of “Bob’s Burgers” (0.5/2 in 18-49, 1.3 million viewers overall at 7 p.m., and 0.6/2 and 1.5 million at 7:30 p.m.), “The Simpsons” (0.7/3 in 18-49, 1.9 million viewers overall), and “Family Guy” (0.9/3 in 18-49, 1.9 million viewers overall). Its lone original, “Golan the Insatiable” (0.6/2 in 18-49, 1.4 million viewers overall) was up a tick from last week.
Yep, Golan was up, but more importantly the ratings for the series isn’t showing any major peaks and valleys despite competition in the same time slot. Moreover, this steady streak could point towards a third season pickup for Golan the Insatiable, which would prove the worth of having original content in and around that time-slot and would have to force FOX to pick up some more originals for Sunday Nights in the Summer, animated or other-wise.
Hi Ashley, thank you so much for reading and we love the feedback. Note that on that day we had 14th posts go up and only ten posts show on the front page, so it's possible the preview had already been archived by the time you got to it. One recommendation would be to add our RSS feed to your favorite news aggregator service like Feedly, this way you get all of the latest posts!
