Puppet News: Shorts Gets Henson-Produced Series ; Stern Debuts New “Gary”

Handmade Puppet Dreams puppet shorts is coming to Shorts TV launching Nov 5th and playing every Tuesday at 8:30pm from Heather Henson the daughter of, you guessed it, Jim Henson. A part of Heather Henson’s Ibex Puppetry, Handmade Puppet Dreams is a traveling film series that promotes independent artists exploring their handmade craft specifically for the screen. The Howard Stern Show has debuted a NEW Baba Booey puppet which I guess officially retires the classic one that was used for years (and can be seen in this below video). The new looking puppet looks a bit more like a muppet and features Gary’s trademark blazer and cadence for whenever he talks about vinyl. Check out the debut of the puppet below:
