PSVue gets Disney & More

Deadline.com is reporting that Playstation’s streaming service known as Vue will get content from Disney XD, Disney Channel, Fusion, and a slew of other networks. According to the article:

Independently owned ABC affiliates can opt-in to provide their live programming to PlayStation users. PlayStation Vue is available to those with a PS4 or PS3 console as well as iPads and iPhones. The full line up of channels is available in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, San Francisco, and Miami although some including Showtime, Fox Soccer Plus, and Machinima are available nationwide on an a la carte basis.

Vue is an interesting alternative to the current crop of online streaming services and other cord-cutting options altogether because unlike say a Roku or Chromecast, you can play games and get NFL Sunday Ticket. Adding Disney properties is HUGE because now content for viewers both younger and older (like ESPN) will be readily available.
