Production Updates: Amazon’s “Undone” ; “Corner Gas Animated”

You obviously need a vacation.

The Austin Texas offices for Minnow Mountain have announced that they have completed their production on Amazon’s Undone series slated to premiere October 2019.

From BoJack Horseman producers Tornante Company, Raphael Bob-Waksberg, and Kate Purdy comes a new half-hour series starring Rosa Salazar in the lead role as “Alma”. Undone explores “the elastic nature of reality through its central character, Alma. After getting into a near-fatal car accident, Alma discovers she has a new relationship with time and uses this ability to find out the truth about her father’s death.”

The studio has confirmed that the series will be Rotoscope animated (think Dream Corp LLC) with companies Boxer vs Raptor and Submarine also providing animation to the series.

Corner Gas Animated, a series rumored to follow it’s live-action counterpart to Amazon, is in production of a second 13-episode half-hour season as we speak. While the show isn’t coming until 2020, show creator Brent Butt has started his behind-the-scenes videos showcasing important milestones leading up to the series’ eventual second season premiere. For those that don’t know, Corner Gas Animated follows the everyday lives of the residents of the small town of Dog River, Saskatchewan.
