Presidential Candidate Gets Flack For Sounding Like “South Park” Character

I had no idea Michael Bennett was running for President until last night and it had nothing to do with watching the debates because I haven’t and don’t plan on voting anytime soon. In any event, Mike caught a bunch of flack last night for sounding too much like popular South Park character Mr. Mackey so much so that even the Twitter handle for the longtime animated series caught wind. 

After watching a bunch of the footage this morning, I definitely see the correlation. Of course, my favorite example of school faculty doing the “Mkay” bit is Beavis and Butthead’s David Van Driessen, but in either case certainly makes the brand of Michael Bennett more aware and could maybe help in his quest in getting higher poll numbers.

In any event, South Park just got a new season return date for Comedy Central and I’m gonna guarantee politics won’t be that much a part of the conversation when the long-running series returns.
