Oni Press Hosting Grand Unveiling for Rick and Morty #50
They’re going all out for this comic book.
Oni Press and Cartoon Network Enterprises announced today that they will be hosting a grand unveiling of the upcoming 50th issue of the Rick and Morty comic series. Already we have heard about multiple covers, rereleases of the first five issues, and a special introduction by Justin Roiland himself for the book released on May 29, 2019. Now, the publishing company is stepping up the significant issue with this special event.
On Tuesday, May 21, 2019, the Bottleneck Gallery (60 Broadway, Brooklyn, NY 11249), will be hosting a Rick and Morty comic cover art exhibit. The gallery will be showcasing 50 original comic book covers, printed and framed, that will remain displayed for 30 days. The Bottleneck Gallery will also be selling 100 limited edition, numbered 16 x 20 prints of the first 5 issue covers on giclee.
The exhibit will be featuring the artwork of cover artist Julieta Colás. Her original variant covers feature the many characters of Rick and Morty half exposed to reveal their biological composition. We have been fortunate enough to see many of these covers thus far, but expect some first time reveals at the event.
Fans of Rick and Morty in Brooklyn should definitely check out this one-of-a-kind exhibit.
Rick and Morty™ #50 hits stores May 29th and is now available for preorder.
Hi Ashley, thank you so much for reading and we love the feedback. Note that on that day we had 14th posts go up and only ten posts show on the front page, so it's possible the preview had already been archived by the time you got to it. One recommendation would be to add our RSS feed to your favorite news aggregator service like Feedly, this way you get all of the latest posts!
