Netflix’s “Hoops” Gets Blocked At The Foul Line For A Second Season

Netflix has made a rather quick decision on the future of their freshman series Hoops, and that is a no go. Hoops is an American adult animated sitcom created by Ben Hoffman.

After one season, Hoops has been canceled which follows a long line of recent adult animation cancellations the streamer has made which recently has included BoJack Horseman and F is for Family, the latter of which has been renewed for a final season. Variety is reporting that the series was too expensive which makes sense due to the fact that the series is produced by Bento Box Entertainment (a FOX Entertainment owned company) and is distributed by 20th Television (a Disney owned company) which doesn’t make for a bunch of profit.
