Netflix Announces 2021 Anime Slate With First-Looks For Masters of the Universe:Revelation ; Shaman King ; Eden’s Zero

Netflix continues to dominate in original animation coming soon to the streaming service, more specifically adult animation. To be honest, I was beginning to worry that there weren’t going to be any decent announcements for #GeekedWeek, but here we are, going bananas with pickups, trailers, first-looks and more that you can see below that have been announced.

Netflix has also announced  Netflix.shop as an exciting new destination combining curated products and rich storytelling in a uniquely Netflix shopping experience. Netflix.shop will drop exclusive limited editions of carefully selected high-quality apparel and lifestyle products tied to their shows and brand on a regular basis. Among the items debuting this month are streetwear and action figures based on anime series Yasuke and Eden. Netflix.shop is also introducing a collection of anime-inspired collectibles from a remarkable group of up-and-coming designers: Nathalie Nguyen, Kristopher Kites and Jordan Bentley.

This scene is set six years earlier (in 2000) in the city streets of civil war-ravaged Penamstan, where bullets fly. When a U.S. special forces helicopter falls from the sky, the U.S. Army Mad Dogs, led by Jason, refuse orders from the command center to stand their ground. Instead go to save the survivors left stranded on the battlefield.

The revealed clip focuses on Jason, who is currently (in 2006) operating with Leon as a U.S. federal agent. As the captain of the Mad Dogs during this earlier incident, he and the unit engage in an intense battle with the local Penamstan soldiers. Starting with the scene of the helicopter crashing, a shocking moment that will feel familiar to fans of the Resident Evil series, this clip will keep viewers so captivated that they won’t be able to look away for even a second.
