Multiple Guest Stars Announced For Upcoming Episodes Of “The Simpsons”

 

 

 

David Harbour and Cate Blanchett have been announced as guest stars for upcoming episodes of The Simpsons. Blanchett will voice the role of a dog whisperer named “Elaine” in the season 31 finale entitled “The Way of the Dog” while Harbour will voice the role of an alternate take on Mr. Burns inspired by Undercover Boss in an episode set to premiere during the show’s 32nd season.

The Simpsons return with a new episode this Sunday Night @ 8pm ET only on FOX. Starting on the 17th, FXX will air a two-week long marathon that will include “Simpsons Roasting On An Open Fire” which will premiere on the 30th anniversary of the episode’s original airing on FOX, December 19th.

The longest-running primetime scripted show in television history, THE SIMPSONS exploded into popular culture in 1990 and has remained one of the most groundbreaking and innovative entertainment franchises, recognizable throughout the world. HOMER (Dan Castellaneta), MARGE (Julie Kavner), BART (Nancy Cartwright), LISA (Yeardley Smith) and MAGGIE are instantly identifiable television icons. Rounding out this cast of characters are many beloved Springfield residents, including tavern proprietor MOE SZYSLAK (Hank Azaria) and nuclear power plant owner MR. BURNS (Harry Shearer).
