Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind Trailer Officially Released.

After a confirmed leak and cast announcement, WB has finally decided to further promote its upcoming 3rd animated Mortal Kombat film “Snowblind with a trailer living up to its previously mentioned synopsis of a dystopian future ruled by Kano and his Black Dragon crime syndicate, with Kenshi and Kuai Liang (the current Sub-Zero) as our lead protagonists.

In MK Legends: Snow Blind, Kenshi will come face-to-face with series baddie Kano, who has apparently deemed himself a king and has the help of other Mortal Kombat villains backing him up. Viewers will be taken on a journey through Kenshi’s upbringing, witnessing how he lost his eyesight, the finding of his ancestral sword, and the training that made him into a formidable warrior.

Our Take

In terms of character designs, this looks quite interesting and possibly works as a “What if?” story given how many of these characters were never seen again after “Mortal Kombat Deception” and “Armageddon” especially Kira and Kobra who are now sporting new looks that are very Mad Max-inspired, along with Kabal, Tremor, Shang Tsung who’s in this plot for some reason, and even Erron Black along with Ferra and Torr, that’s three characters that were first introduced in 2015’s Mortal Kombat X.

Snow Blind is the third Mortal Kombat Legends film following 2020’s Scorpion’s Revenge and 2021’s Battle of the Realms. As of right now, the film is set to be released in digital form and on Blu-Ray, is said to be out on October 11, 2022.
