Moral Orel Creator To Potentially Tour NorthAm With Updated Syfy Pilot

Moral Orel may not be coming back anytime soon, but that doesn’t mean the show’s creator Dino Stamatopoulos isn’t working on new projects with his studio Starburns Industries. Hell, just last week they were attached to adapt Lady Danger to be an animated series and they’ve been continuing to work with the former creators of the HBO animated comedy Animals on different shorts. So it comes as no surprise that the head of Starburns, Dino, is hard at work on a bunch of new projects.

In what seems to be Dino’s latest passion project, The Black Holewhich was a one-time series that was meant for Syfy’s failed TZGZ line-up that followed a dive bar in space, it seems that we may be getting another swing at this one in the coming months in a different manner. While not officially announced with dates and whatnot just yet, Dino Stamatopoulos is teasing a North American tour with potential dates in California, Canada, and NYC, that would feature a panel dedicated to an upgraded animated pilot showing of The Black Hole. Dino says that this version is much improved from the one that was on YouTube and will potentially feature Gabriel Sunday, Ember Knight, Dana Snyder, and George Wendt (Edmund). Moreover, Dino is teasing puppets and sets from the animated pilot as well as a Q&A portion that would potentially kick-off late June 2023 and last through July 2023.

No official dates have been posted yet and I’m sure talent availability is always subject to change, but even so this sounds like a bunch of fun.
