Mondo-Powered Animation Hour Headed To El Rey Network
Toonami gets some new competition!
Mondo Media has tried its hand at variety series before by its content. Efforts like Like, Share, Die and Night Sweats quickly come to mind for the one-time online animation powerhouse trying to keep staying power on television and now it looks like they are trying again. Set to air Saturday nights @ midnight only on El Rey Network will be an hour of Mondo original animation.
Teased as part of the lineup includes series like Gary and his Demons, Brogan, and a mess of other series. This isn’t the first time the network has messed with online animation, having used Rooster Teeth in the past and even it’s own originals as part of the channel schedule.
