Mike Judge talks up Beavis and Butt-Head future on Stern

The Howard Stern Show has been CRUSHING it in the interviews department as of late, and this week is no different. On Monday, Howard got to ask Seth Rogen about his upcoming Sausage Party animated film, and now yesterday he had the great Mike Judge on to talk about all things Mike Judge. Whilst there, Mike talked up his new series Silicon Valley, but he also spent a bunch of time talking about his career including his two animated stops with King of the Hill and Beavis and Butt-Head.

Friend of the site, Richard Christy, again shed some tears seeing his childhood hero show up to the Stern Show, but more importantly gave some pretty awesome notes about his career and is definitely an interview worth listening to if you subscribe to SiriusXM. But, the big thing was that Mike did make mention about the status of Beavis and Butthead.

Really the major news that came out was that there is still a possibility that MTV does more Beavis and Butt-Head episodes, but that seems unlikely as the network focuses on its 8-13 year old girl market. That said, MTV has been shopping it to other networks to sell, but ever since Silicon Valley, Mike hasn’t really talked about it and seeing as how the HBO comedy just got picked up for a second season it may be a real long time before we see any sign of the series though Mike still contends that Beavis and Butt-Head is still his most favorite thing that he’s ever worked on.
