Masters of the Universe: Revolution Gets A New Teela

It has been nearly a year since we’ve heard any new news regarding Masters of the Universe: Revolution, the sequel series to the excellent Masters of the Universe: Revelation reprisal of the classic eighties animated franchise. Well, that has all changed because we now have a new voice for Teela.

Gone is Sarah Michelle Gellar’s take on the character which was part of the “Revelation” series, and welcomes Melissa Benoist (Supergirl) as the new voice for Teela. She joins Mark Hamill (his lines for Skeletor have been recorded already) and William Shatner in an unannounced role. It should be noted that Melissa is actually married to show star Chris Wood who voices the role of He-Man.

The series is slated to bow sometime in 2024 being produced by Powerhouse Animation.’Masters of the Universe: Revolution’ is an all-new story that brings the focus to He-Man vs. Skeletor like you’ve never seen them before. It’s technology versus magic as He-Man and the heroic warriors face the forces of Skeletor and a deadly threat to the Planet in ‘Masters of the Universe: Revolution’ – the next epic chapter in the battle for Eternia.
