Major Lazer cartoon gets confirmed for FOX premier
We told you guys about the Major Lazer animated series coming to FOX ADHD back in March, and now Billboard.com has not only confirmed the series, but has penned in 2015 for a premier.
For those that don’t know, Major Lazer is a popular electronic music group featuring Diplo and Switch that was due to have an animated series be produced for Adult Swim, only for it to get picked up by FOX a few years later. Billboard says not only is the series coming in 2015, but that it will feature soundtrack collaborations with Cat Power and Riff Raff.
The question is, will the Major Lazer show premier in the prime-time Sunday Night slot designated for FOX ADHD next year? If so will the series be of the 30-minute or the 15-minute variety? What does this mean for the other FOX ADHD programming? All these questions and more will hopefully be answered in the coming weeks.
