MAC to Debut Simpsons Makeup Line During Comic-Con

And now some news for the three or four actual female girls that read this site:

After previously mentioning a collaboration with The Simpsons to celebrate the show’s 25th year, MAC Cosmetics revealed some details about its collection, and how to get your lady grubs on them before everyone else.

Items in the ten-piece, Marge-inspired line include lip glosses ($16.50), nail stickers ($16.50), lashes ($18.50), and eye shadows ($44). (In other news: that was the girliest statement I’ve written in my career as a journalist thus far.)

The collection will be available prior to the August 28th web release and September 4th in-store release, for only one day, on Saturday, July 26 (during Comic-Con) at the MAC Cosmetics store in San Diego’s Gaslamp District.

In a statement, Marge turned into a real person and said, “They’re all so great, but I must say that Lisa’s Spikes really works well with my skin tone and of course, Beehive Blue complements my hair perfectly.”

In addition to selling the collection, MAC will also be providing Marge-style makeovers. Hopefully that doesn’t mean makeup applied via shotgun.
