“Lupin the 3rd Part 5” Announced For Toonami Premiere

Toonami’s lineup is getting so damn strong.

Set to premiere on June 15th @ 1 am ET/PT on Toonami will be Lupin the 3rd Part 5 which is expected to replace Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure in the lineup moving forward.

Twenty-four episodes are coming to Toonami that will see us in modern-day France with Lupin and his gaggle of cohorts like the marksman Daisuke Jigen, the swordsman Goemon Ishikawa XIII, the con artist Fujiko Mine and Inspector Koichi Zenigata, plus a new character Ami Enan, a teenage hacker.

Lupin the Third Part 5 was produced at Telecom Animation Film, and was directed by Yūichirō Yano, reprising his role from 2015’s Part IV. It was written by Ichirō Ōkouchi alongside Gō Zappa, Daisuke Sakō, Kazushige Nojima, Takahiro Okura, Yuniko Ayana, Keiichi Sigsawa and Shatner Nishida, and featured character designs by Hisao Yokobori.
