Lucas Bros. Teasing Prequel For “Lucas Bros. Moving Company”

The twin stand-up comedy duo Kenny and Keef Lucas, aka the Lucas Bros., are teasing an animated prequel revival of Lucas Bros. Moving Company. The boys say they are down to three networks that are in the running to pick up a live-action/hybrid sketch series that would feature both animation and live-action and that perhaps a prequel to their FXX original series could be in the cards.

For those that don’t recall, Lucas Bros. Moving Co. was an American adult animated television series created by The Lucas Brothers. It originally premiered on Fox on November 23, 2013 as part of Animation Domination High-Def, and was renewed for two additional seasons on FXX before being canceled because FXX didn’t know what it had here and thanks to terrible marketing the whole block was taken out which featured other stalwarts like High School USA!, Axe Cop, and the aforementioned LBMC, all of which can be streamed on Hulu now which is where block producer Nick Weidenfeld now makes his living.
