Long-time Producer For “The Simpsons” Edwin E. Aguilar Passes
Edwin E. Aguilar, longtime animation director for The Simpsons, having also made stops at The Simpsons Movie, The Oblongs, Brickleberry, and even The Simpsons Comics for Bongo, has passed at the age of 47 due to complications from a stroke set forth by his longstanding battle with cerebral thrombosis.
Edwin’s resume with The Simpsons is nearly 200 episodes long that almost could’ve taken a different turn as Edwin, years ago, fled a war-torn El Salvador to be reconnected with his family in Los Angeles where he would continue to reside for years to come. He would soon make trips back to his homeland in an attempt to inspire new generations to potentially work their way into the field of animation of which Edwin made a huge impact.
Bubbleblabber offers our condolences to family and friends of Edwin Aguilar.
Hi Ashley, thank you so much for reading and we love the feedback. Note that on that day we had 14th posts go up and only ten posts show on the front page, so it's possible the preview had already been archived by the time you got to it. One recommendation would be to add our RSS feed to your favorite news aggregator service like Feedly, this way you get all of the latest posts!
