Multi-time Grammy award winner and Hall of Fame honoree John Prine has lent his talents to produce the theme song for this Sunday’s all-new episode of Squidbillies on Adult Swim. The network has released before and after videos on how this was accomplished of which you can see below.
New episodes of Squidbillies premiere Sundays at Midnight with a new episode entitled “Duel of the Dimwits”.
Squidbillies is Adult Swim’s only backwoods comedy starring Appalachian mud squids. Brought to you by Dave Willis (Aqua Teen Hunger Force) and Jim Fortier, Squidbillies is the story of a dysfunctional redneck family and the equally defective Georgia town from which they hail. Early, Granny, and Rusty are proud, beer guzzling, Southern taxpayers who don’t take kindly to government intervention or not getting their welfare checks.
