Krogzilla gives update…pitching new show?
It will be two years next month since we’ve seen any new Krogzilla for Shut Up Cartoons, which is way too long. However, it sounds like the green monster is still trying to get back in the swing of things according to this latest update on the official Facebook page:
Miss you guys. Pitching myself around the TV world, so we’ll see. I rose up from destruction before, I can do it again! But this time I’ll be wearing some nice khakis I’m trying to keep clean.
For those that don’t know here’s a little introduction to Krogzilla via his Facebook page which I’m assuming is managed by the same people who represent Tom Cruise and Will Smith:
Krogzilla was born as an unknown mutation of aquatic lizard, in a volcano on an island in the Pacific Ocean — an island used for nuclear testing. After being exposed to high amounts of atomic energy at an early age, he grew to a full height of 200 feet tall and took to the sea.
Drawn to the noises and pollution of man, Krogzilla attacked coastal cities all over the world with a hunger to burn and destroy everything in his wake. Confused and misunderstood, the monster continued his reign of destruction until a team of scientists defeated him. These scientists analyzed the gamma radiation that had mutated him and created a “reverse gamma ray.” This ray both weakened and shrunk the monster.
Now reduced to only six feet in height, Krogzilla has mastered speech and common social graces and seeks to become a functioning member of society. He still has incredible strength, an unusually thick hide, and breathes fire from time to time.
He also enjoys golf and scrapbooking.
