Krispy Kreme Australia Launches “Pickle Rick” Doughnuts
Krispy Kreme is one of the few franchises in the world that still spells out the word ‘doughnuts’. If you’re like me and grew up near the artists formerly known as Dunkin’ Donuts, you’d know that the more apropo way of spelling the delicious sugary treats is now “donuts”. It works, it fits. It’s part of pop culture lexicon.
In any event, Krispy Kreme Australia has just launched a line of Rick and Morty inspired treats and drinks that should get fans super excited. These treats include new flavors such as Pickle Rick, Simple Rick’s Wafer Cookie and Strawberry Smiggles. To wash it all down, Krispy Kreme has also launched a “Fleeb Juice Shake”, all inspired by the Adult Swim series. The new line-up is available at all Krispy Kreme Australia locations, but not available at 7-Eleven, BP or in South Australia. To further help celebrate, Krispy Kreme has a contest going for free Rick and Morty bucket hats that you can learn more about here.
This Rick and Morty X Krispy Kreme crossover is not the only food promotion going on this year. Just last month, Rick and Morty teamed up with Pringles to launch “Pickle Rick” flavored chips topped off with a sweet Super Bowl ad campaign. As for Rick and Morty, the show’s fourth season is currently on hiatus after airing the show’s first half of the season last year on Adult Swim.
Hi Ashley, thank you so much for reading and we love the feedback. Note that on that day we had 14th posts go up and only ten posts show on the front page, so it's possible the preview had already been archived by the time you got to it. One recommendation would be to add our RSS feed to your favorite news aggregator service like Feedly, this way you get all of the latest posts!
