James Woods Turned Down “Family Guy” Episode That Was Too Anti-Conservative

While extreme left continues to chide The Simpsons, Family Guy gets it from the other side.

In response to the controversy around Michelle Wolf’s White House Correspondents Dinner performance, Family Guy regular James Woods has chimed in noting that he was recently offered a Family Guy episode and turned it down due to the premise of the episode being very anti-conservative.

Family Guy is rife with James Woods references, most famously with the James Woods High School that Meg and Chris frequent and there’s even a local Quahog forest called “James Woods”. A highly satirized version of himself was also featured in eight episodes, usually in prominent roles. Whether it’s trying to commit fraud against Peter or ruining Brian’s TV show, James Woods has had a bunch of fun episodes of the series over the course of the franchise’s 16 seasons.

Sick, twisted and politically incorrect, the animated series features the adventures of the Griffin family. Endearingly ignorant Peter and his stay-at-home wife Lois reside in Quahog, R.I., and have three kids. Meg, the eldest child, is a social outcast, and teenage Chris is awkward and clueless when it comes to the opposite sex. The youngest, Stewie, is a genius baby bent on killing his mother and destroying the world. The talking dog, Brian, keeps Stewie in check while sipping martinis and sorting through his own life issues.

Family Guy is staring down the last few episodes of it’s 16th season which should wrap before May. A new episode airs this Sunday Night @ 9 pm ET/PT entitled “HTTPete”, in the episode, to help promote the brewery to millennials, Peter adopts the millennial lifestyle; his methods soon attract the attention of a high-powered Silicon Valley executive.
