We all know how CybertronMessiah and JohnBlabber feel about My Little Pony and the “Bronie” culture. But how do you think they would feel if you took the theory behind MLP and crossbred it with DragonBall Z, Happy Tree Friends and Ren and Stimpy? We’re about to find out….

About a month ago, on the hotdiggedydemon Youtube page, an animated show about cartoon horses came to a close in epic fashion when SWAG. MOV was released. Mind you, I’ve never watched a minute of any of the previous episodes, but this opus was able to clue me in as to everything that had happened in the entire series up to that point. I was almost turned off by the run time of this episode, 15:27 is drastically too long by Webs Day standards, but i can honestly say that I am glad I clicked the thumbnail to start this powerhouse of rad!! As stated earlier, the animation is akin to Happy Tree Friends with a sprinkling of Ren And Stimpy for color. R&S’ animation style is prominent in the beginning when one of the characters is escaping the cholo’s den. The color work is really clean, crisp and nice. There’s actually a “Behind The Scenes” video on how they designed the town, which I highly recommend that you check out. There’s also a small snippet in the behind the scenes that shows how the voice recording and acting is done that is really educational. Speaking of the VO actors/actresses, great friggin job! Very impressed with the way you could deliver such hilarious lines out of such “adorable” characters.

Am I a Bronie sympathizer? Fuck no. Do I approve of this video? FUCK YEAH!!!

Friends. It was kinda like Seinfeld. It wasn’t really funny, the writing was terrible, the characters were worse and yet they still made a boatload of cash. And then you’ve got Minecraft. I’ll never understand this game. With all the technology now-a-days, why would anyone want to play a 16-bit version of The Sims? Install The Sims, add Medieval expansion pack, mod in some zombies ::BOOM!:: Minecraft with great graphics! Now what would happen if Friends and Minecraft were to meet?? Well, you’d probably end with something a little like this video from Element Animation! I would venture to say that the Friends theme is one of the more recognizable and iconic television theme songs in the past 20 years, but redubbing the words with a Minecraft theme is just fucking brilliant! The lyrics are really well thought out and worth their weight in funny! I can actually picture a gigantic 30something male humming this theme song while he’s waiting for his Alienware and 4 monitors to boot up in his mother’s basement whilst engorging himself on Totino’s Pizza Rolls. The art is clearly a Minecraft mod, but it doesn’t upset me that much because they were able to create the opening scene from Friends damn near flawlessly. They say that sometimes two unlikely objects will make an amazing team. While this may not be true with such things as chocolate and olives or Everlast and music, it works perfectly with this video.

I’m a big fan of  “people watching.” And there’s no better place to see the great dichotomy that is humanity in their natural habitat than on the New York City subway. And unless you’re with a group of friends, you’re keeping these observations inside your head lest you get your ass kicked. This situation can only made worse when someone actually tries to talk to you like we see in this episode of “Subway Thoughts.” I’m all but certain that if you’re reading something on an animation website, you’ve probably had your fair share of awkward conversations with women, so you….oh fuck it, I can commiserate with Kurt on this one. The way he conveys the inner monologue is authentic and genuine as well as pretty funny. The art is rustic, almost like something you would see on Adult Swim at 2:30am back in the day. A pretty neat video all around!
