ITS WEBS DAY!! WEASEL TOWN, Trailer Trash, Muppet Teens

Weasel Town-“The Dentist”

Created by  Bongo Comics’ Nathan Hamill and Eric Filipkowski, Weasel Town is a relatively new entry in the Shut Up Cartoons’ bag of tricks. The show stars Derek Waters as Dipster and Jason Ritter as Haunches, two weasels who well um…weasel their way out of precarious situations. Take for instance episode 2 entitled “The Dentist” where Dipster has bad teeth and instead of going to the dentist asks his friend Haunches to pull his tooth out for him with the classic tooth tied to a car bumper routine. The animation is decent, and I would say the voice over acting is legit, my only issue is that this particular episode didn’t have THE most original premise going as I think everyone from Homer Simpson to Elmer Fudd have had their teeth pulled somewhat similarly, Having said that, the show is strong and should be a welcome addition to Shut Up Cartoons’ portfolio.

Trailer Trash-Narc

Trailer Trash is a show about a bunch of hicks from the South whom in this episode watch a brilliant film by the name of Narc and as a result are inspired to start doing drugs. The show is really, really funny almost like a cross between South Park and Squidbillies in terms of the presentation and setting respectively. You can find this animated series just about anywhere, because not only is it on Mondo Mini, but you can also find the show on Hulu, and even its own Youtube channel.

Muppet Teens

So yea, ever wonder what happened to Jim Henson’s creations between Muppet Babies and The Muppets?? Welp, so did someone on College Humor because they do this hilarious video called “Muppet Teens” where somehow the entire crew is still at the day care but everyone’s personalities pretty much show off the typical high school kid. Be it, the goth Miss Piggy, the dumbass Fozzy bear, or Gonzo finally coming out of the closet, this video has it all…except length. At only a little more than two minutes, I felt this thing should have gone for twice the time, but with that being the only gripe, College Humor certainly has a winner.
