IMDB TV To Launch TWO Original Animated Series This Month

 

IMDB TV might be another way in which Amazon’s looking to get into the streaming service game alongside it’s Amazon Prime service and they ain’t messing around with original content and especially original animated series. The streaming service has announced two original series for October.

Set to stream on October 15th will be both seasons of the smash-hit Canadian animated series Corner Gas Animated, created, starring and executive produced by award-winning showrunner and stand-up comedian Brent Butt, the Corner Gas franchise centers around the colorful characters of Dog River – a fictional rural town forty miles from nowhere and way beyond normal. The ensemble cast stars Brent Butt as Brent Leroy, owner of a roadside service station, with Gabrielle Miller as Lacey Burrows, Fred Ewanuick as Hank Yarbo, Eric Peterson as Oscar Leroy, Lorne Cardinal as Sgt. Davis Quinton, Tara Spencer-Nairn as Constable Karen Pelly, Nancy Robertson as Wanda Dollard, and Corrine Koslo who replaces the late Janet Wright as Emma Leroy.

The new IMDb Original series Corner Gas Animated features an all-star lineup of cameos, including actor Michael J. Fox, comedian Russell Peters, singer/songwriters Jann Arden and Sarah McLachlan, astronaut Chris Hadfield and Epic Meal Time’s Harley Morenstein.

In other animated series news, the previously announced You’re Not A Monster” has a start date of October 9th with ten episodes on the way starring Kelsey Grammar, Eric Stonestreet, and others.
