IKEA Showcases Set Up Inspired By “The Simpsons”

Tommy, I’m kiddin’ with you.

The Simpsons continue to be an international Goliath. The show most recently may have helped turn an election  and now a Middle Eastern ad agency is promoting IKEA in a new campaign with furniture mock-ups inspired by some of the most well-known couches in American pop culture which includes, as you may have guessed, The Simpsons.

As you can see the ad campaign has recreated the iconic living room from The Simpsons complete with all of the accouterments that are actually for sale by IKEA in the Middle East thereby allowing you crazy fans to give it a go with the couch, rugs, etc.

Recently nominated for a 2018 Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program, THE SIMPSONS exploded into a cultural phenomenon in 1990 and has remained one of the most groundbreaking and innovative global entertainment franchises. HOMER (Dan Castellaneta), MARGE (Julie Kavner), BART (Nancy Cartwright), LISA (Yeardley Smith) and MAGGIE are instantly identifiable around the world. The Emmy Award-, Annie Award- and Peabody Award-winning animated comedy just wrapped its 30th season this year and has been picked up for seasons 31 & 32.

THE SIMPSONS is a Gracie Films Production in association with 20th Century Fox Television. The series was created by Matt Groening and developed by James L. Brooks, Groening and Sam Simon. Brooks and Groening are executive producers. Al Jean also serves as an executive producer and the series’ showrunner. The Gracie Films Worldwide Brand Division develops and produces the licensed content for the series.
