Hulu’s “Tigra & Dazzler Show” Latest Marvel Animated Series To See Creative Challenges

With Deadpool’s cancellation and all of the terrible Marvel animated series airing on Disney XD over the last few years, it doesn’t surprise me that one of the four adult animated series heading to Hulu with the Marvel brand on it is running into trouble over creative differences. It’s exactly the reason why the Deadpool animated series on FXX never went through, and even a show that is supposedly “woke” is at odds now with the MCU.

The series, which stars Chelsea Handler, has just fired it’s showrunner Erica Rivinoja and the entire show’s staff which will see Tigra & Dazzler’s production put on hold for the time being, leaving in doubt the show’s slated 2020 premiere. THR is reporting that scripts and outlines were pretty much in the bag and were nearly at the finish line of the pre-production cycle when the changes occurred. The characters of “Tigra & Dazzler” were also supposed to be a part of The Offenders series, but it’s unknown whether or not this delay in production will now alter the plans for that show.

Tigra & Dazzler Show is a story about two woke superheroes and best friends, Tigra and Dazzler, as they fight for recognition among powered people who make up the eight million stories in Los Angeles.
