Hulu’s “Crossing Swords” And Adult Swim’s “Ballmastrz:9009” Season Two Wrap Production

Two series announced to premiere in 2020 have celebrated major milestones this past week as both have announced completion on the production of their respective seasons.

The first one, Hulu’s Crossing Swords, has officially completed production on its first season. Set to premiere in 2020 for Hulu, Crossing Swords has officially been picked up to a ten-episode season being produced by the guys who brought you this very good Slash video aka Stoopid Buddy Stoodios. The series will star Nicholas Hoult as Patrick, a goodhearted peasant who lands a coveted squire position at the royal castle. His dream job quickly turns into a nightmare when he learns his beloved kingdom is run by a hornet’s nest of horny monarchs, crooks, and charlatans. Even worse, Patrick’s valor made him the black sheep in his family, and now his criminal siblings have returned to make his life hell. War, murder, full-frontal nudity—who knew brightly colored peg people led such exciting lives? Also slated to join the cast are the likes of Luke Evans, Robot Chicken‘s Seth Green and Breckin Meyer, Tony Hale, Wendi McClendon-Covey, Adam Pally, Adam Ray, Tara Strong, and Alanna Ubach.

The second series to announce the completion of production is the second season of Adult Swim’s Ballmastrz: 9009.

The year is 9009. Ballmastrz: 9009 follows washed-up superstar and notorious party gal Gaz Digzy, who after a spiral of destructive antics is demoted to the worst team in The Game: The Leptons. Her only way back to the top is to somehow lead these pathetic misfits to victory. Good luck, Gaz. You’ll need it! The quarter-hour series is created by Christy Karacas (Superjail!) and produced by Titmouse.
