Joseph Gordon-Levitt is launching a new sketch variety show and he has put out an open casting call for cartoonists. YOU could be on TV!
We talk up a lot of animated sketch shows here at Bubbleblabber as we often do stories on Robot Chicken, MAD, and newcomers like TripTank. Well, Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Looper, Inception) has just posted a trailer because according to Deadline.com he has a new sketch show coming to Pivot a new network looking to launch August 1st, 2013. According to the article:

A new take on the variety show, hosted by Joseph Gordon-Levitt who directs countless artists from his global online community – hitRECord – to create short films, live performances, music, animation, conversation, and of course, more! Now, me personally I don’t know anything about making content, but I know a lot of you guys do. So go ahead and go on to www.hitRECord.org and put in an entry!
