‘Hanna-Barbera Diamond Collection’ Announced For Release
Just in time for the holidays!
Just in case Boomerang isn’t your thing, Warner Home Video is doing a diamond collection release, a 12-disc set for $74.99 SRP, featuring the first season of both The Jetsons and The Flintstones, plus a whole lot more on December 12th.
The Flintstones: The Complete First Season From the moment they arrived on the scene, The Flintstones lived up to the words of their immortal theme song: a modern stone age family that is a page right out of history. The lovable temperament of Fred Flintstone.the delicious digs of wife Wilma.the hilarious jabs of neighbor Barney Rubble. They’re all present and (pre)hysterically accounted for with 28 episodes of the entire (pre)historic first season that will make fans shout “Yabba dabba doo!”
The Jetsons: The Complete First Season “Meet George Jetson.Jane, his wife. daughter Judy.his boy Elroy.” The catchy tune of The Jetsons ideally captures the lighthearted essence of the show, a futuristic counterpoint to The Flintstones that reflected the space-age optimism of the times. The Jetsons were the very first family, animated or not, to have a big-screen home entertainment system decades before it became a reality. They also had flying cars, floating cities and androids, all commonplace scenery in today’s most popular sci-fi blockbusters. Now, this beloved series teletransports onto DVD, all 24 hilarious season one episodes.
