Gloria Estefan and Rita Moreno To Guest Star In Animated Special Finale For “One Day At A Time”
Set to premiere June 16th @ 9 pm ET/PT only on PopTV will be the season finale of One Day At A Time which will feature an animated quarantine-produced episode entitled “The Politics Episode”. Not only are we getting Lin-Manuel Miranda to guest star, Gloria Estefan and Rita Moreno will be getting cameos as well, in this case performing a duet that will be a parody of Estefan’s “Mi Tierra”.
In the episode, Penelope’s conservative family comes to visit. Penelope dreads that with the election coming up, they won’t be able to avoid fighting over politics, leaving the Alvarezes to strategize how to get through it with the family intact.
