GKIDS Screenings For “Promare” & “Children of the Sea” Postponed

GKIDS has had an awesome year or so in regularly releasing feature-films which is why I’m super sad to report that the company has delayed the re-release of Promare and the release of Children of the Sea. Both were probably obvious casualties as reports have been swirling all week of AMC and Cinemark theaters closing as a result of the coronavirus outbreak.

That said, this is a small price to pay for the safety and well-being of movie-goers. In fact, if it were me, I’d ask GKIDS to maybe release the movies digitally on Vudu or Amazon much in the same way Universal is doing with some of their theatrical releases. In any event, the events are expected to be rescheduled and GKIDS has announced ways in which patrons can get full refunds for any tickets previously purchased.
